4300 With the 75% discount that I recently got, what are some of the most cost efficient things to buy with the plat first? I know for sure that I will give into the inner Fashion and buy color palettes, armor bundles and stuff, but first is there any important stuff to buy as a new-ish player?(Other than mods and prime parts through trading of course.

Saryn prime sets, they will get vaulted in 30 days and you could multiply the ammount of plat you have

What source do you need? They vault in order of release.
After trinity prime, saryn prime was released. Trinity was the most recent to get vaulted, so saryn is next.

Like 99% of the community would say, spend it on slots and poootatos. Also get the classic saturated colour palette, it consist of a bit of everything.

Potatoes come pretty easily with alerts, unless you have more than 2-3 weapons for each class you like using. But yeah apart from slots and potatoes there's nothing really worth spending plat on.

Depends how important you consider a catalyst, I make sure all gear has a catalyst or reactor. While I've not needed to buy reactors I have bought catalysts
I never feel like I need them to be honest, but perhaps that's mostly because my mods aren't at the point where I need catalysts :P
I've never actually applied one, I just craft them until my guns are underpowered. However I think the best idea is to save them for primes or good guns that don't have primes (Argonak etc).
