PSA: If you're rooted, it's only a matter of time

I normally play on my phone, which is rooted. I've been playing the game since day 1, and it appears my account was just banned. Whenever I try to load the game, it just gives me the error code 802-5808, which I've read means that root has been detected. I've transferred the game files over to a non-rooted device, and it still won't let me in.

edit: Turns out it was just a local ban (meaning it just saved a file locally that blocked my access).

If this happens to you, get Magisk root, uninstall the game, reinstall it, and download your save file from a linked Nintendo account. If you don't have an account linked, don't worry. You should still be able to link an account from the title screen, and it will upload your save, without whatever it is that blocks you. Then reinstall it and download your save file using the account you just created.
