S2417DG with a 1060, upgrade GPU first or get monitor first?

3 months after building my PC, looking into getting a proper monitor. Should I just get the monitor now and upgrade my 1060 later in a few months? Or get another 1080p monitor and maybe upgrade in a few years time?
