"Blade Runner" references by CR

So, as far as I have seen the streams, CR has mentioned "blade runner" at least 3 times while exploring the Stanton system. Does that just have to do with that gem of a movie running just now? Or do we have some good shot at getting a proper reiteration of New Detroit? Is the "corporations own everything"-vibe from blade runner just a concept that fits the Stanton system well, or is the blade runner flair something the UEE as a whole (or even the whole game) trends towards?
