Rank is 2450 but i still have platinum badge from last season?

I don’t play overwatch that much so I don’t know much about the ranking system. I was platinum last season and this season I started off with 2450 but still have my platinum badge. Basically I’m confused on what ranking I am in. Am I in gold or platinum?
