Why doesn't my partner have a smell to me?

Throwaway for obvious reasons.

I literally don't understand. Everyone says their partner has a smell. Like... A distinctly, "this is my partners smell" type of deal.

I literally don't even smell my partner ever - except his awful feet when they come out of work boots. Otherwise, I don't even smell anything when we hug. Ever.

My previous partners have all had a distinct smell to me. Just a "that's this person" kinda thing. My current partner doesn't have any sort of body smell to me, and it takes almost literally 3 weeks of not showering for me to smell him. (Not that it happens regularly, it only did while we were in a semi-nomadic situation for a while prior to having kids).

I feel like I'm the odd duck out in this relationship. Because in previous relationships, the scent of a partner immediately turned me on... In my life partnership my partner just doesn't have, like, ANY smell.

Am I just weird?

TL;DR: My partner smells like nothing to me. I can't smell him. Previous partners I could. I do not understand.
