[Help] add-on debugger won't open anymore

Hi,

I tried looking around google, and tried to find a subreddit for this question but i couldn't really find a more appropriate community to ask this question. You may redirect me if you know a better place.

I was coding a simple firefox version 56 extension. just trying to send messages between the content and background. I don't know what happend, but the add-on debugger won't open again in about:debugging.

I tried : reloading the extension, removing and loading the extension again, closing firefox , clearing history and cache, and restarting my pc.

Nothing happens when i click debug anymore. no windows open. The console used to open and would ask me permission to debug.
