Pixel 2 XL Vibration?

Just wondering is the vibration suppose to be a very small vibration when for example clicking the nav buttons on bottom? Compared to original Pixel XL, it's very short and minor compared to XL. Wondering if my phone may be damaged or if that is normatl.

Thanks!
