[Landlord Canada-BC] Can I install CCTVs in common areas?

My family is concerned that installing cameras onto the property and dummy cameras are a breach of contract. I want to install them in places that don't look into tenants apartment and put up signs saying a camera is recording.
I would put them facing the driveway away from the tenant's suite, not within view of the door and again near my own door which is not in view of the suite. My family is concerned that it would be viewed as changing a material term without consent. What am I legally allowed to do?
