Updates, etc.

Hello. Busy, busy. I don't know if you guys know this but I'm a graduate student in math. School started up again so I don't go on the Internet basically... ever. Kendrick stuff will only be updated as something big happens. For instance, Doves in the Wind is going to get a video soon. Hopefully it'll corroborate more of the theories I've put out but we'll see. Kung-Fu Kenny isn't stopping, apparently.

If you're interested in what I study it's called Algebraic Combinatorics. Well, that's at least the field I want to get into. I haven't picked an advisor yet but I know who I'm going to work with if they'll take me in. Right now I also do a bit of algebraic topology and manifold theory. None of this is important to the layman but in a few years time I'm hoping to make these subjects more applied as it relates to my research. Combinatorics in particular I want to use with Category Theory and Categorical Grammar to give some sort of symmetry to poetry and prose. The whole concept sounds really crazy right now so I can't say much about it. I'll get back to you on that in a few years.

When I'm not doing things in school, I play cello. With grad school taking up so much of my time, I can only manage to get an hour of play in a day now. I also have things I want to research in combinatorics as it relates to music theory and music composition. Again, I'll get back to you on that.

I still have a long list of things to do with this Kendrick project. But there is something even cooler that I'll be doing relatively soon. I will have the opportunity to finally teach Kendrick Lamar to people. My school offers a program where grad students can volunteer to teach at our state prison. I'm going to use my Kendrick book as a textbook and teach topics in English Literature through Kendrick's music. Of course this is not new as I'm sure a few dozen - if not hundred - people have done this already. I'm just excited because I get to create the cirriculum and I get to make teaching relevant. Teaching literature through Kendrick is much more effective than teaching through Shakespeare in this day and age. Not to mention, it's at a prison! How relevant is that? So... outside of the academic teaching position I'll be doing with Kendrick (which is a huge career/academic goal of mine), I have to complete the fandom/Kendrick wikia, m.A.A.d TV. There's already a site made for it. I just don't have time to update it just yet.

I'll be back on Reddit in December.
