Got a girl hot and bothered. Now what ?

I started digesting the sidebar couple of months ago, realised what a train-wreck I was, and got to work. Still under progress. I still suck at the 'game' aspect. But I know enough not to act beta.

Before all this, I was texting a chick from school. But I was way too invested and after a couple of no-replies, I dropped the whole thing. Since the last month or so, she tried to initiate contact. I shut her down. Except I acted like she didn't exist. She then shoots me a look and then starts flirting with the guy next to me. It doesn't work which gets her even more angry. Then the cycle repeats. It has happened more times than I would like.

So what do I do now ? Do I continue the ghosting or is there something else I should do ?
