Disadvantage of the first goal

Is this a thing in this game? In WL I have noticed one trend, the team who scores first (or is up to 2:0 3:0), in 2 out of 3 cases lose at the end.

Is this only me, or are you have a similar experience. I'm slightly above average WL player (Gold 1-3)
