Wow Token question

I current stopped playing world of Warcraft but I still have enough gold on my characters to purchase some tokens, is there anyway I can purchase a token and redeem it for battle.net balance without having to use one for membership?

Edit: Do not have a membership right now so i have no way of purchasing one in-game
