Why you are doing this?

I had enough of it and going to spend some time to write about what I think on the following issue. Just a little heads-up, the intention of this post is not to get comments like "go back to your country, if you do not like it here" or something similar. The intentions do not also include to hurt someone's feelings or so. I do not understand that why (mostly, a great portion, the majority etc) people born and raised in Canada are so triggered and feel like they are the only ones who care about racism, sexism, ageism and etc. Do you guys really think that you are the only ones who value not being racist and try to teach the others not to be one? I went to a Halloween-themed party today, and 4 guys were arguing with another one since he was dressed up as a Mexican with a Mexican straw sombrero hat and a traditional colorful dress: the basis of this intense conversation started when a girl pointed out that wearing a traditional dress on a Halloween party symbolizes racism. Anyways, the heated discussion there ended up with that girl taking the Mexican guy's hat off his head and throwing it to the trash just beside the security stand. First of all, if you do care about human rights and stuff, no one gave you the permission to touch somebody without their consent, and especially take a piece of their clothes and just dump it into the garbage bin. There were people dressed up as Greek gods and goddesses, so consequently should someone also point that out and tell them that they are not respecting the Greek mythology/culture? I mean, at some point in history, the Greek did believe in those gods and now imagine that someone with a Greek background is approaching them and telling that you do not respect our culture since you have dressed up as Aphrodite on Halloween. Does it make sense? I have traveled to 17 countries so far (as diverse as Cuba, Georgia, Germany, Turkey etc.) and have never ever encountered people who show off as the guards of humanity by fighting for racism, sexism etc. at night clubs, parties or any kind of gathering. At least for a person from Europe, this is how the young people of Canada are seen. If you doubt, believe me, being born and raised in Europe they also teach us to respect the other cultures and nationalities and how not to be a dick towards others. I still remember watching Cbeebies when I was a kid, and all of their shows had hosts from different backgrounds and some of those show hosts were physically disabled as well. This is how Europe was and is fighting against racism, sexism and other issues: by visually preparing kids that people of all skin colors and physical abilities exist and they are part of the society and do carry values to strengthen the community. All I want to say is that if you keep emphasizing on racism, sexism and other issues, you will be reminding people that they belong to a certain group of something (race, religion, sexual orientation etc) and it will be impossible to fight it as long as people think of the physical appearances they have instead of concentrating on the fact that first of all they are human beings, not Asian, Gay, Muslim, but a decent human being, just a human being. Have you ever seen a 3 yo kid being racist to another peer on the playground? I highly doubt that, because at that age no one fucking cares about the complexion, cultural background or anything else of the other kid, all they wanna do is to play and enjoy that moment they share. Why should not we enjoy that fucking Halloween party when we are in our twenties and forget about that crap that impedes the proper, civil conversation we all strive for? I truly believe that as long as no one mentioned about grouping people on the physical/cultural traits and stuff and associating certain stereotypes with them, the growing generation was aware of the terms "racism", "sexism" etc.
