TIFU by going to the pool

As usual, this didn't happen today. It happened around two months ago, during the summer after school was out.

My brother had invited me over for a neat pool party, nothing special. Just out with his girlfriend and her nephew/brothers and sisters. We had fun for a good 6-7 hours. this is when I fucked up. Just for a confirmation, I'm not fair skinned. i have an olive skin color that doesn't burn easy. So i assumed i was just going to get a few tan lines and that was that. I put on sunscreen that day, basically smothered it onto my skin. I looked like a snowman on crack in the summer heat.

Around four hours in, i feel the sun beaming upon me like the gods have just given me the blessing of a lifetime.

six. My skin has gotten darker, and i get out of the pool to go into the shade for a while to drink some tea. relax n shit, take my hair down and abandon my scrunchie.

Seven. Pool time is over, everyone is tired and woozy from all of the margaritas they have brought. I notice some peeling on my arms. Just brush it off as a small sunburn. First mistake We get home, and i put on a new shirt and put on another. As i was taking off my first shirt, it felt like satan was scrubbing my back sensually with a pitchfork. Shit hurt like hell. The second shirt felt worse. My chest looked like it had been through nam' and back. Red and peely as hell.

Remember that scrunchie i abandoned? Really shouldn't have done that. My hair used to be mid-back, now it's been over my shoulders. Shit looks like a rat came in and didn't pay rent. I'm planning on detangling it or just cutting it.

TL;DR: went to the pool for 7 hours and got a bad sunburn+ tangled hair to my shoulders
