[QUESTION] Switching between chords

I started jammimg with another guitar player, and he asked me to learn a song he wrote. It had a lot of quick moving arpegios and fluid single note lines, as well as some voicings I had not played before. I've been working hard to learn this song, but switching between these new chords isn't going too well. Is there any methods I can employ to help me switch between chords more quickly/cleanly?
