Alone and too smart for my own good
Currently, I am experiencing some major dilemmas relating to my academic and social lives. On one end I am an official MENSA tested 125 IQ individual (and from certain sources that I examine, it states that this IQ relates to gifted individuals, postgraduate students, highly above average, etc.). All of this and I am only 14 years old. At my age and intelligence, I am flourishing in my education, an A or above in every subject, accelerated to a year ahead in two of my six subjects.
It may seem I have an all perfect existence with excellence in education, but this delusion I try to convince myself with could not deviate farther from reality. This intellect that I am plagued with convolutes my conscience with the awareness that many don't prefer. While I observe the masses droning in blissful ignorance, happy with their instant gratification, I am left here to rot with my extreme self-restraint and proficiency. I don't do drugs, PMO, gaming, or anything else, endlessly devouring the knowledge I love to hate and hate to love. With that, I am left to suffer for the void that it creates.
My social life, don't get me started. I attempt to explore online, meeting the rare, equally talented and gifted individual to interact with, I do converse occasionally with a few who share interests, nothing to satisfy any human being's social requirements. My private school, with some of the best professors I have received the privilege of studying under, also has the problem of a small and stagnant population, with a minuscule student base where the intellectually equivalent too busy to even try and start a conversation with, let alone my requirements creating a drastic restriction on me as well.
Lastly my family, after struggling through the retarded public school system as a pre-teen for years, I finally got their non-understanding asses to enroll me into a private school. Even though for the last two years my education has flourished, the stress of being a slave to my own mind and not have others to interact with has slowly built up over time until now, where I make a Reddit account to vent my troubles to the strangers of the world, awaiting my response.
