Shrill Alarm - Something to do with Bluetooth?

I have never encountered this and I'm having trouble even finding anyone else that had this problem.

I use my car bluetooth to connect to my phone and play music. For the last couple of days, after a few minutes of disconnecting my phone from my car via bluetooth, it begins ringing with a very high pitched, shrill alarm-like sound. I've only recently figured it out that it goes away when I turn the bluetooth off. Before finding that out I had to reset my phone entirely.

Any ideas?
