How to lit a monster spawner in Survival Mode?

Hi, I get a monster spawner in survival mode when a creeper and skeleton fight and the creeper blasted. So, I have the cage without flames. Is there a way to lit the spawner?

I'm playing version 1.2.3 of Minecraft for Windows X
