Does this look like a decent ~$1,000 setup?

###Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yep.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming (Rocket League/Shadows of Mordor/others in the future) I've never had a gaming pc so I mainly can't wait to play games that are visually captivating in decently high settings. Light video editing.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

HD settings would be nice, don't necessarily need Ultra for my first build. I've only ever been able to play on the lowest setting for all my games so anything is better than that.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

~$1,500, give or take, I didn't add in a monitor to my parts list yet which is already over $1,000

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

US of A

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

First build so please let me know if everything is compatible and looks good, I did my research but still feel somewhat lost. Like do I need to buy any additional cables and the like? Is a 600W PSU good enough to run everything, could I even downgrade to 500W to save money? Would you recommend a better graphics card or maybe another 8gb stick of ram to make it run better? Any bottlenecking issues you happen to see? Anything helps thanks. I will gladly take your constructive criticism.
