Any UI scaling options?

I'm coming from a 5x and I've noticed on the X4 everything is huge and takes up way more screen space. I can't see as much; the apps and icons and everything look way bigger and it feels clunky and awkward because of it. Is there a way to scale everything back? As an example in the messenger app I can see everything at the top plus 6 conversations on the 5x, On the X4 I can only see 4 conversations and everything is squished together. They are both 1920x1080 screens so I'm not sure why everything is all huge on the X4.
