Rich Young Ruler- kept the "Ceremonial" law to Enter into Life

SDA'S teach that the Rich Young Ruler kept the moral law and that it was not enough. Then they teach that Jesus gave him a law of love instead. However a deeper look demonstrates that Jesus told the Rich Young Ruler if he would enter into life he would keep the law found in Deuteronomy. Aka the so called ceremonial law.

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Where did jesus get the law he told this guy?
