Ex-Jehovah’s Witness
I had a friend who was an ex-JW and every Christmas she would exclaim “this is only my 3rd Christmas!” Or “this is only my 4th Christmas!” She was the happiest person around holidays since celebrating them was forbidden while in the religion.
Since he’d never carved a pumpkin before, it made me wonder.
