Anyone else really pissed that we can't go through the gate of the Serak Power Plant?

This has probably been said a billion times before or whatever, but I'm just so angry that we can't just go through the door or open the gate, even after destroying the metal gear. It makes absolutely no sense to me, and it seems like a blatant disregard for the desires of many players. In fact, to the point where the developers actually just block it off, not make the door unpickable, just to fuck with the player.

Damnit, Kojima!
