Did I mess up bad??

I was at the 2nd of Penny's "TESTS" and it said to return in 8 days, I however got mugged and was sent to the hospital for 3 days and missed the deadline. Now there seems to be no dialogue about it. Did I accidentally softlock the game to where I can't complete the game?
