Problems with Super Mario Galaxy 2

I configured my Controller and i went to start it up and it comes up with the following message:

"Communications with the Wii Remote have been interrupted. To reconnect, press A without touching the Control Stick on the Nunchuck."

I have tried the following: Pressing A on my controller. Turned off "Enable Speaker Data" and Re-Configured the Controls
