Dodging gladiator's toe stab after light

Hey guys PC player here,

I mainly play cent and I'm having a lot of trouble dodging toe stab after light. Even if I anticipate it, and let my character get hit w/o switching guard (ik about the guard bug where you can't dash until your guard switches), I can't seem to dodge the toe stab time. I'm wondering if you guys have the same problem on non-assassin characters.

Dodging things in general feels much easier on assassins.
