About Me

Greetings and salutations! My name is [Silver] (https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/14120713/Silver) and I have been a guardian since Year One of Destiny. I main a hunter, though I play all three classes. Like everyone, I have moved on to playing Destiny 2 for the most part, but still enjoy returning back to Destiny for some activities and a raid on occasion. I have enjoyed seeing the joy that this game brings which is what I would like others to experience. I am willing to sherpa others through D1 raids, you just need to specify.

What to Expect as a Sherpee

You should expect a calm environment that is lighthearted and relaxed. You are here to learn, dig into content that you want to become familiar and comfortable with and I am here to help you do that - and get some sweet loot. You should expect to laugh, have fun even if we end up wiping a few times. If another sherpee is being disruptive and toxic, you can expect that I will not tolerate that behavior and will remove said individual.

     

Requirements

I. You must have a mic. That isn't a negotiation as all raids require communication and the learning process cannot be successful without communication.

II. You must have patience. If in a group with other sherpees, you must be patient with them as you would expect others to be patient with you. If you catch onto the material quickly, be aware that not everyone will be able to.

III. Put aside spare time to complete the raid. It is possible that a raid might not be completed in one hour or two, so please be aware that it might take a little longer for a run to be completed.

IV. Be of appropriate light level or higher. The higher the better, but if you are at least 285 it'll make the process easier.

V. Speak English. I am Bilingual, I speak English and Spanish but in order for this to work you need to be able to speak English at least comfortably. We can't complete a raid with a language barrier.

     

Recommendations For Raid

Class/Subclass Setup

-Hunters: Nightstalker (Top Tree) with Orpheus Rig (Most Recommended), but any subclass can work through each encounter

-Titans: Striker (Top Tree) for Double Pulse Grenades, Sentinel just doesn't work as well and Sunbreaker can be tricky.

-Warlocks: Stormcaller (Bottom Tree), Dawnblade works really well on enemies but isn't good for final boss encounter, Voidwalker also only good for enemy control.

   

Weapons

Kinetic: Origin Story, Nameless Midnight, Better Devils are highly recommended.

Energy: Uriel's Gift, Coldheart

Power: Merciless, Sins of the Past, Curtain Call, Quickfang (Decent Damage in Pleasure Gardens), Hawthorne Field-Forged

   

Disclaimer: These are highly recommended for the raid, not required. I am just trying to give you an idea of what tools alongside proper guidance will make encounters easier.
