What are your favourite international hop combinations?

Very (very) broadly speaking I'd say that hops from within a country or region often have similar or distinctive characteristics, so you're more likely to mix different types of, say, English hops together, or American hops together, or German hops together. I guess this also comes from traditions where hops that are mixed are probably grown close to each other.

I was wondering if anyone has found any combinations of hops from different countries that worked well (or surprisingly well?).

As an example, for a recent brew I started out with a fairly traditional ESB with East Kent Goldings, then used some Galaxy (an Australian hop, my favourite!) as a flavouring hops. It's pretty good, some nice earthy notes from the EKG with some fruitiness from the Galaxy. My interest probably comes about because I'm an Australian living in Europe and I'm a fan of both new world and old world hops, so I'd be particularly interested in any mixes of European and Aus/NZ/US hops. Saaz and Nelson Sauvin? Hall Mitt and Summer? Fuggles and Cascade? What have you tried?
