Bike thieves and destructive people ?

Hey reddit !

I've got a new bike and it looks nice ,But no matter where I park it,Even in broad daylight in front of people people are always trying the lock out by yanking the handle bars or tugging on the lock ( lucky I bought a kryptonite noose chain ) .

Just now at Starbucks had a guy try it and I went out and told him to stop ,walked inside and came out and he was waiting by my bike for me to take the keys out to mug me so I had to get police involved .

I guess this rant all comes down to the question ,How is your luck with theives and people trying to kick your spokes in ETC ?

Do I just have bad luck ?
