Slow Download

Any reason this game is taking forever to download? I may not have a fast internet speed, at just 1mbps, but i can download a gig in 15 minutes, totalling 1 hour for the 4gb update, give or take a few minutes, but the Epic game launcher is capping it just before 300kbps. Not sure if its actually being capped or the servers are just being shitty, but why's it downloading so slow?

Edit: Forgot to mention, that 300kbps is if im lucky, its sitting between 60kbps and 100kbps, which is nearly 1/10 of my actual speed.
