Looking for help deciding a topic

The Question is: Consider something in your life you think goes unnoticed and write about why it's important to you.

I'm having trouble understanding the question and what it wants out of me. I'm confused on if they want a quality (like passion, work ethic, or honesty) or if they want a specific experience (like helping my younger brother study, being a manager for the HS basketball team, or how I helped a friend study for the ACT).

I could include both a quality and give experiences of that quality, but I don't want to have my essay be too broad or narrow.
