Lesbians and bi women of ARAD: Long fingernails an issue?

Not long ago my wife and I started swinging, and my wife came out as queer. One thing a friend of ours (who we now hook up with) mentioned how many women claim to be bi but you can tell they aren't or don't have any expirience because they have long/painted nails, meaning they don't think about how to pleasure a woman. I know that having short nails makes fingering more comfortable for my wife. It makes sense.

I guess I'm just wondering if this is actually a good way of telling or if it is a thing at all? Is it a sign of lesbian expirience or is that over analyzing things? Do any lesbians have long nails, or does your partner? If you do, how does it work? Just curious.
