Controller keeps bugging

Hey there fellow Ashen ones !

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I thought I'd give it a shot.

So I'm playing Ds3 on PC using a PS3 controller and the scp driver so that it actually works.

For the first like 30 hours I could play the game just fine with the controller rarely disconnecting from time to time which is most likely due to my cable.

Well now onto my problem

When I start up the game everything is fine but once I give the input for an attack or take a hit my character just keeps walking forward and I can't stop him at all.

No buttons on the controller work after my character starts walking.

I really don't know what caused this since it worked fine for the first 30 hours.

The only thing I could imagine causing this issue is the fact that I have 2 monitors.

I'm pretty sure when I started out with the game I only had 1 monitor but I'm sadly not 100% sure anymore so I can't 100% confirm if the bug only occured after setting up my second monitor but it definetly is a possibility.

Hope some of you can help me out and thanks in advance!

Games like SFV and Naruto Ninja Storm 4 work fine btw despite 2 monitors so it is a Dark Souls 3 specific issue
