I'm thinking about leasing a car, and wanted to know if this sounds on the level. (US)

Auto

I received a phone call from a dealership that I test drove a car in- they said on the voicemail that they were doing a special for the month and the model I had test driven two weeks ago was now $170 per month for lease, which is almost half the $350ish per month rate I was quoted when I walked in initially to get a feel for how much I might end up paying. (to me this is a red flag that something might be up -50% discounts seem excessive-, but this is also the first time interacting with a dealership)

I think, but am not sure, that they're specifically offering the showroom vehicle (not sure if that makes a difference).

Quote from their website: "3.9% APR for 60 months for qualified buyers. Monthly payment is $18.37 for every $1000 you finance. Example down payment: 18%. Some customers will not qualify."

The car itself is in the 30-40K range, but it's an electric vehicle, and those come with several rebates from what I understand.

I am awful at math, so I can't even tell if this is remotely feasible even with rebates, or if they were tossing out a number based on like 15K downpayment or something fairly unreasonable (for me) like that.

If it isn't complicated enough, I have two cars for trade-in, both from the mid-to-late 90's...
