can i make these at home

hi , i bought a fantachrome machine (aka spray on chrome or hydrochrome machine)

its for painting things with chrome , like plastic and glass , the ingredients come in bottles and there are instructions on how to mix them , but they are expensive , i was wondering if anyone knows what they are made of and if u can buy the chemicals separately and make them at home? or is it to complicated to diy?
