Bachelor Of Science Question

Hey so this is my first year at uni and failed 3 papers last semester, on a good track now but was wondering how the rest of my degree will go on? Since I failed 3 papers do they automatically get deducted from my course or can I take 3 extra papers apart from my normal papers after my 3 years finish? To catch up and get a good GPA?
