What programming language has a better chance to land you a good paying job? (Go/Kotlin/Other)
I cannot decide which path to go down, I already know Java/C++ however I'm not a fan of either and so far my experience was only limited to competitive programming (algo contests) and front-end stuff (I really dislike doing front-end dev) so at this point I want to try out something new and fun, I know that it's never just one language that I'll have to use, but everyone has to have I guess a main tool in their tool shed and I can't decide which one I want to be mine, kotlin seems cool and I have been using it for some time for the contests, c# seems also to be a viable option with the recent cool things Microsfot did and then everyone is talking about stuff like Golang/Elixir etc P.S. After I graduate I will start working at a company that does a lot of Data Science stuff (I have no clue how those things work, but I'll first get thought on what I need to know then join the workflow)...
