Need help with the djv/dejavu rdta fill port

Not sure how many people here have the djv rdta, but i am in need of some assistance. I have had the rdta for a day now. The first few times I filled it, it worked fine. But after that it just floods the build deck with juice, and not the 2ml reservoir. I tried moving the wick, thinking that was blocking the hole, but it still didn't work. I cleaned the whole thing (disassembled) and rewicked, and it filled correctly the first time, but wouldn't do it the next time I went to fill. Ive done this a couple times. I havent seen other people with these issues, and it seems to be working correctly for all the reviewers I've seen. I don't know what to do, any help would be appreciated.
