I'm not depressed but my loved one is.

I think posting this here will help me get the right kind of help. So my younger brother have been studying abroad for 1 year. He's always been an introvert. He exprienced minor depression before but with family and his closed friends (his circle is very small) i think he got by quite good and actually had fun with life. But i think lately the depression is coming back and it is a major one. He doesnt sleep at night, he doesnt eat and last night he skyped us. His look was very different, he was pale and seems like he has los quite some weight. And he started to cry. He told us he would reach out to a therapist in the next week. Since he went to the university we havent been closed like we were before but God knows we love each other still. I used to be in depression for like 2 months in 2015 (because of my stomach disease) without anyone knowing i were but thank god im blessed with a strong mind and got over it by myself. But he is a vulnerable person and i dont have exprience in helping others depressed human beings. So guys, if anyone have an idea or two about how can i help him with his depression, im all ears. Thanks for listening guys.
