XP for Sale: a revision of the TH Promo Calendar highlighting the XP-focused promotions

I meant to get to this sooner when MTX was the hottest subject on reddit, but I was busy, and couldn't put in more time into this. Had to invest some time into forming the guidelines on choosing how to label the calendar. This calendar is subjective in that what is considered a XP-focused promotion may vary between individuals.

While subject to revision, these are the tentative conditions...

White: No active promotion

Orange: Active promotion but does meet the guidelines of an XP-focused promotion

Red: days with a Treasure Hunter promotion active that...

• feature promotion-exclusive rewards, particularly lamps and stars that grant more XP than regular prismatic fallen stars and lamps;
• feature rewards or mechanics that boosts the overall quantity rewarded per key, or rarity category;
• feature promotion-exclusive consumables that are used to enable significantly higher XP gain alternative training methods whilst circumventing a daily limit on a promotion-exclusive activity; or…
• reduce rarity or introduce of bonus skilling outfits, elite skilling outfits, protean rewards.

The choices of days to highlight in red are subject to these exclusions:

• promotions that offer high-value rewards, as this is not the purpose of this particular calendar
• activity or task cards that grant unique cosmetics, despite the XP rewarded as the XP reward is not infinitely repeatable, and the portion of the rewards that is repeatable provides no substantial XP gain exceeding regular rewards
• skill outfit add-ons as the upgrade itself provides very little XP gain, or boosts wealth to a miniscule degree
• cosmetic-focused promotions, unlocked by promotion-exclusive currency despite excess currency after all cosmetics are unlocked could be used to gain XP
• Astromancer outfit, as the benefit to each individual is limited
• Dragon trinkets, as it mainly provides convenience rather than direct XP
• Slayer Masks as they provide convenience for slayer training, rather than directly boost XP

No surprise there. As the years pass, the calendars get redder, and redder. Now that Jagex's statement on monetisation has been released, could this trend reverse itself from this point on? On one hand, XP-focused promotions are said to be eight times more profitable than to host a cosmetics only promotion. But on the other hand, some of us are hoping they'll make good on their statement.
