Golden Knights :/ Stanley Cup Contenders?

I wonder with such a nice start to the Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey season (8-1) that they have a serious chance at winning the Stanley Cup due to the terrorist attack in Las Vegas on October 1st, along the lines of the various NFL Super Bowl winners that have incidents/terrorist acts, coincide with their relative cities/states. 2001 going to the New York Giants for example. I also wonder if it’s a ploy to help bring tourism back here and to lessen the damage that the shooting will do to our economy.
