Fun area to play in?

Hi,

I just recently picked up CK2 after a few years (since the old gods expansion) and I've fallen back in love with the game. I'm currently wrapping up my first real campaign, reforming norse paganism and creating the empire of Scandinavia starting in Gotland. I found this to be a ton of fun.

Any tips on where to go next? Any fun campaign tips out there?
