Question about parking permits for 49cc mopeds

So when trying to add a vehicle on driverseat, the field for license plate number is required. What's the policy here for having a 49cc moped? They're not required to be registered in Georgia, but would registration and plates be required for them to park at Tech? Or would it be acceptable to put "MOPED" as the license plate number since a lot of 49cc mopeds I've seen around do have a plate that says that.

UPDATE:

Finally got hold of a PTS person who could answer my question. Turns out that the current policy is to use the last 8 digits of the scooter's VIN number as it's license plate number.
