Lets talk about limited banners on 2018
With the release of Halloween banner right at the end of Performing Arts, I think It's safe to assume that Intelligent System doesn't have problems with releasing a limited banner right at the end of another. And before you write an answer, yes, I know that they already did it with Ylissean and Nohrian Summer.
But I think that they are about to go one step further by releasing 3 limited banners in a row. Although Halloween is really popular, especially in english-speaking countries, its not as popular as Christmas in foreign countries, so if we have a Halloween event in a (mostly) Japanese game, We can be sure that we are going to have a Christmas event.
And with Christmas being the last (hopefully) limited banner of this year, we can have a first look on the 2018 limited banner schedule will look like
My guesses for 2018 limited banners:
- January: ?
- February: Aniversary?
- March: ?
- April: Spring
- May: ?
- June: Bridal Blessing
- July: Summer A
- August: Summer B
- September: ?
- October: Perfoming Arts?
- November: Halloween
- December: Christmas
Every month marked with "?" can be a new limited banner, note that I'm using the word "limited" instead of seasonal because with Performing Arts, IntSys has prove that they can release new limited heroes without having to use holidays as an excuse.
Changes from 2017:
-
Spring and Bridal Blessing are going to last for a whole month (instead of 2 weeks), that's the direction they have taken with the last limited banners, so, seems logic to apply it to previous banners.
-
Last year units are going to return, but under one of these terms:
A: They'll put new units on the old banner making more dificult to pull for specific units if they share colors
B: Old units and New units are going to be on separate banners, so you have to choose on wich banner are you going to spend your orbs
- Too good to be true:
C: Last year units will be added to the regular summoning pool.
