Anyone experienced this bug with watching ads?

So I've been trying to farm 650s blueprints and a lot of times when i'm watching ads to rush the timer, i'll watch enough to get it down to ~an hour and a half. Then, the next ad I play will cause the app to freeze. When I force close the app and re-open, my rush timer is back to the maximum....

I even tried getting it down to an hour and a half watching ads, and before I watch another ad i'll close the app and re-open it. No luck... timer is back to the max again....

It's really frustrating and if anyone has a solution i'd greatly appreciate it.
