Should I skip Odaiba and visit Ueno/Ameyoko instead?

Itinerary

Hi all,

Our first day in Tokyo is actually half a day because we'll be taking a shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo (~3hrs) in the morning. I had originally planned for us to visit Odaiba in the afternoon to visit MiraiKan, check out the new Gundam statue, do some shopping at Venus Fort/Diver City and then take the Yurikamome train back out at night to get some nice views of the Rainbow Bridge.

However, I've been combing through reviews on TripAdvisor and the like recently, and some have found MiraiKan 'disappointing' or quite 'child-centric'. I also just found out that Leisureland has closed down (?). On top of all that, quite a few people on this sub have discounted Odaiba as a must-see location in Tokyo.

That said, should I change my itinerary to the Ueno area instead? I really wanted to see the robots at Miraikan + the Rainbow bridge at night, but I'm not sure if that justifies a whole half-day there.

At the moment, our Tokyo itinerary also includes Shimokitazawa, Harajuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Shin-okubo and Nakano.

Am I thinking too much? Or is it a good idea to consider changing plans? I'd appreciate any and all advice!
