Quicken 2018 question

I noticed that Quicken 2018 has been released. I kind of have mixed feelings about it being a subscription now, but we'll see I guess... I see everywhere that you will always have access to your data, even if you cancel the subscription.
Does anyone know where the actual quicken file stored? Is it local (on my computer) or in a cloud?
