My Nmom was planning on being an A-MAZEBALLZ grandmother...

So just checking if anyone else have had this.

When I moved out from home into a flat my Nmom held my old toys and anything else I might have had a sentimental connection to and might have wanted to move with me hostage.

She did this and I quote her;

So that in the future when you have given me grandchildren I can dig them out from the attic and they can enjoy playing with them.

Her thinking was; 'If I keep this toy treasure in the attic I will seem AMAZING to any children who come visit and since the toys are MINE since I paid for them there is no reason for my children to take them away from me if I can use them in the future to look caring'.

I replied to her;

What grandchildren? I've never planned on having kids and I don't think my siblings are planning to have any either. x_x

She countered with;

Well you have clearly poisoned your (N)siblings thinking with your crazy ideas and if not grandchildren then just ANY children that happen to come visit.

O_O I'm sorry what?

Unless she was planning on kidnapping children with an icecream van I don't know who these hypothetical children were going to be, but it was clear that they were more important than I ever was. xD
