Are we the black sheep of the Canadian NHL teams?

This post will be depressing. So I will preface by saying I am a devout Canucks fan and have been my whole life and will continue to watch their games even during seasons where we're not projected to go anywhere.

But, are we the black sheep of Canada in the NHL?

We're the oldest Canadian team without a cup (older than the flames and oilers, both of which have cups)

We're not iconic to the league like the leafs and the habs are

We've probably had the most unlucky playoff and draft record of every Canadian team

This team has had its high moments and it's lows, but ultimately are we the black sheep of Canada?
